FASHION & DESIGN EVENT FIRST EDITION 22
The first edition of Fashion & Design 2022, presented by the Lugano Fashion School of Stylist and Director Dea Semadeni, in collaboration with the SR Special Events Consulting agency directed by Sabine Rettich, was held on Sunday, November 13 at the prestigious location of the SWISS DIAMOND HOTEL IN MORCOTE.
Protagonists of the evening were the 3 students who finished their training course by parading for the first time, wearing their garments in front of a large audience, in the presence of experts and national and international fashion influencers.
The three awardees, CHRISTOPHER FADER, SASKIA CANONICA and ELLA REINHARDT, were honored by 'guest of honor TANJA MISSONI who arrived especially for the occasion.
The Fashion show was also attended by other Swiss brands such as BERNINA and Made to Create who presented their collection made to inspire the audience and also contribute to the recycling trend by giving new life and new look to recycled garments and fabrics. The company BERNINA, has been an industry and made-in-Switzerland leader since 1893, that is, since it introduced the world to the first sewing machine and constantly offers sewing classes to its customers.
The Swiss brand C.W. Design by Cornelia Weckherlein with its handmade, fashion-leading collection showed a potpourri of colors and pattern variations, offering accurate and personalized service in its Atelier in Ticino and Zurich. Along with her collection, colorful printed silk scarves were presented, ispired by some artworks by contemporary artist Cornelia Hagmann from Zurich and fantastic hand-embroidered fine leather bags made by Peruvian Stylist Lucy RIOFRIO
the Mirage Collection.
Also present with her own collection was designer and director Dea Semadeni together with her son Yuri Bombello (YUB ) who proposed an elegant line, a 'preview for the upcoming holidays . Yuri Bombello presented his idea of tomorrow's fashion with dresses made of fabrics that can be easily transformed through "zipper" zippers, which transform daytime dress into evening dress and vice versa in the blink of an eye.
Finally, a Summer Seaside 2023 preview was offered by Stylist MARCHELLA CORDEL with her brand LAROUGE, refined, brilliant and classy costumes and accessories that definitely do not go unnoticed.
The backstage was curated by HAIRSTYLING NORA, the MAKE UP by Anastasia RAVIGLIA , the direction and music by DJ Michael.
Designer MELINA SCHATZ from Lugano, gave a touch of light and brilliance to the outfits of the various collections, with her exquisite jewelry, made of colored precious stones and diamonds.

During the course of the evening, numerous requests for participation were received from other Swiss and international designers for the next edition to be held in 2023, an encouraging sign that bodes well.
A rich aperitif was offered at the end of the evening, a perfect opportunity for fruitful interaction between the audience and designers.
